Pascal Morabito comes from a family of goldsmiths of Italian origin: his name has been handed down from father to son since 1871. He was born on 3 May 1945 in Nice. After completing his studies in architecture, he created on 3 May 1968, in the family workshop, the first centre for artistic jewelry, named “le centre de création et d’étude du bijou contemporain ou micro-architecture”. He designed unique pieces of “haute joaillerie” for private and international clients, including the gold “compressions” which became the “César du cinéma” trophy. Among his many friends are artists like César, Arman, Dali, for whom he has designed micro-sculptures, which were instantly successful.
